Tata Motors is back at it. The Punch EV is getting a facelift. Yep, a fresh new look. India will see it hit showrooms on 20 February 2026. The electric drivetrain? Same as before. Nothing fancy. But the updates inside and out make it feel different. Cooler. Slight price hike expected, but worth it.
Exterior Sporty, Sharp, Ready to Turn Heads
Step closer and you’ll see it. The front now looks sharper. That black strip connecting the headlights? Gone. Just like that. The lower bumper got a subtle reshaping. Bigger air intakes. Alloy wheels borrowed some style from Tata’s bigger EVs.

And the color oh, the color! Bright yellow, just like Tata’s premium SUVs. Add a black roof? Bam! Sporty vibes. The rear? Light bar, new bumper. Nothing crazy, but it clicks together. Makes people look twice. Makes you grin.
Interior & Tech Feels Smarter, Feels Fresh
Walk inside. That 12.3-inch touchscreen dominates the dash. Tata’s updated interface is slick, responsive. Seats feel fresh, cabin feels alive. Existing goodies like 10.25-inch digital cluster, 360-degree camera, wireless charging, ventilated front seats all still there. Nothing lost, everything better.
Word is, advanced driver-assist features might join. Makes sense. This Punch EV wants to feel smarter. Safer. Like it’s thinking along with you. Neat, right?
Powertrain Familiar, Reliable, Fun
Mechanically, Tata didn’t mess with success. Two battery options remain. Small 25 kWh pack gives 265 km range, 82 bhp, 114 Nm torque. Big 35 kWh pack? 365 km, 121 bhp, 190 Nm torque.
City drives, highway runs, short errands, long trips. Check. Zero-emission. Fun to drive. Reliable. Tata kept what works. Why fix it if it ain’t broke?
Variants & Features Polished and Premium
Smart, Smart Plus, Adventure, Empowered. Same trims, but now polished. Ambient lighting, auto-dimming mirror, upgraded infotainment. Cabin feels premium. You sit. You smile. Subtle, but makes a difference. Tata knows what needs tweaking.
Launch, Price, and Booking Almost Here
Price bump? Small. Nothing shocking. Bookings are live online and at dealerships. Anticipation is real. People want to see the facelift in person. And once they do? Expect heads to turn.
This facelift isn’t just a refresh. It’s Tata saying We still got it. The Punch EV wants to stand tall in India’s EV market. And it probably will.
