Fact-Checking Policy

Every claim needs a source. We verify before we publish and re-verify when things change.

Sources we use

  • Official: OEM websites, press kits, brochures, homologation papers
  • Direct: interviews, press briefings, media drives
  • Public records: SIAM, ARAI, government notices, recall lists

How we verify

  • Match specs across at least two official documents where possible.
  • Cross-check prices with dealer quotes or official configurators.
  • Test what we can measure: fuel use, range, charging time, cargo space.
  • Keep raw notes, photos, and timings for audit.

Rumors and leaks

We label rumors as rumors. We do not publish “exclusive” claims without evidence and editor approval. Unnamed sources are rare and used only when necessary and lawful.

Updates

When OEMs change specs or prices, we update and add a time-stamp or a correction note if needed.
