VinFast VF 3: The beginning of a new electric revolution

Introduction
Today's world is rapidly moving towards electric vehicles (EVs). Due to rising prices of petrol and diesel, pollution problems and changes in technology, people are now giving priority to EVs. In such a situation, Vietnam's company VinFast has introduced a unique and affordable electric vehicle - VinFast VF 3.

VF 3 is a mini SUV, specially designed for cities. Its aim is - affordable price, small size, and environmentally friendly technology.

Design and look
As soon as you see the VF 3, its boxy and cube-like look attracts attention. Its design has been prepared keeping the youth in mind. LED headlights at the front, attractive grille and compact body give it the look of a modern electric car.

Its length is about 3.2 meters, which makes it perfect for driving on the crowded roads of cities. Its height and ground clearance give it a SUV-like feel, but in size it is like a small car. It has 16-inch alloy wheels which give a stylish look as well as better road grip.

Engine and Performance
VF 3 is a fully electric car. It has an electric motor which gives a power of about 43 horsepower. This car is rear-wheel drive, that is, the rear wheels run, which is considered a good option for city driving.This car has a small but impressive battery which can run for about 200 kilometers once fully charged. This distance is usually enough for a day's urban use.Talking about charging, it has fast charging support, so that you can charge a large part of the battery in 30–40 minutes.

How is VF 3 from inside?
The interior of VF 3 is quite modern and minimalistic. It has a large touchscreen infotainment system, which supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Apart from this, digital instrument cluster, multifunction steering wheel, and connected car features give it a futuristic feel.4 people can sit comfortably inside the car. The rear seats can be folded to increase the boot space – which is a good feature for small families or those traveling alone.

Although the VF 3 is an affordable car, it still has the necessary safety features:

Considering the Indian market, it could be priced around ₹8–10 lakh. In this range, it can compete with cars like Tata Tiago EV, MG Comet EV, and Citroen eC3.
