Skoda Slavia Price Hike Top Variants Now Up to Rs. 33,690 More Expensive
Skoda Auto India revises Slavia prices for select trims this month, with the Monte Carlo and 1.5 DSG variants seeing the highest increase. Facelift is expected later this year.
Okay, straight up Skoda Auto India has hiked prices across its models this month. We already saw the KylaQ hike, now it’s Slavia’s turn. And yes, this update isn’t for all variants, only some select trims. Bit annoying, but that’s how it goes.
Which Variants Got Costlier?
At the top, we have the Monte Carlo 1.0 AT and 1.5 DSG. These two got the biggest hikes Rs. 33,690 and Rs. 29,207 respectively. Crazy, right? Prestige 1.0 AT and Sportline 1.5 DSG also got dearer, Rs. 27,690 and Rs. 25,897. Buyers must be a bit shocked.
Prestige 1.5 DSG? Extra Rs. 23,207. Signature 1.0 and Sportline 1.0 (MT and AT) went up by Rs. 16,586. All other variants, like entry-level Classiv 1.0 MT, remain the same. I saw a customer at a dealer just standing there and saying, friend suddenly it’s expensive. Dealer just smiled. Straightforward scene.
Price Range and Engine Options
The Slavia is now priced between Rs. 10 lakh and Rs. 17.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Engine options remain the same 1.0 and 1.5-litre TSI petrol, six-speed manual, seven-speed DSG, and six-speed torque converter automatic. No big change in the powertrain, but the price bump will definitely be felt. My friend went for a test drive and said the AC had a small glitch minor, but noticeable.

Facelift on the Horizon
Skoda plans to launch a facelift later this year. My guess? Subtle design tweaks, updated tech, maybe better interiors. But with the recent price hike, buyers’ expectations are already high. If software or minor hardware issues repeat, long-term perception could get tricky. The story is simple price went up, expectation went up too.
Straight talk if you want the Monte Carlo or top trims, be ready for an extra Rs. 30k+. And if you’re patient, waiting for the facelift is a smart move. New styling and tech will feel more worth it. Just a bit of wait and observation needed. My personal take Slavia is still strong, but the price hike will definitely feel like a weight.
Is Skoda Slavia Price Hike Top Variants Now Up to Rs. 33,690 More Expensive the right direction?
