Skoda Kylaq prices rise for Signature and Prestige trims, while Classic stays unchanged. Check updated prices, new variants, and what to expect from the upcoming Sportline.
To put it straight the prices of the Skoda Kylaq have seen a little shake-up. The base Classic variant remains completely unchanged, so entry-level buyers can relax. But for the other variants, a price revision has come into effect, going up to Rs. 33,000 depending on the variant.
Which Variant Got How Much More Expensive?
The Signature MT, Signature AT, Signature+ MT, and Signature+ AT have all become Rs. 33,000 costlier. The Prestige MT and Prestige AT have a slightly smaller hike of Rs. 24,000. So, buyers opting for the top trims will need a deeper pocket.

New Variants and More Choice
Earlier this month, Skoda introduced the Classic+ and Prestige+ variants. These new trims have unchanged prices, giving buyers more flexibility. Choice has definitely increased. And yes, the Kylaq’s rivalry with the Tata Nexon remains tight the ex-showroom price now ranges between Rs. 7.59 lakh and Rs. 12.99 lakh.
Next Up Kylaq Sportline
The employer has hinted that another variation, the Sportline, can be launched later this yr. Fans and ability customers will should wait for full information. From my insider perspective, the Sportline is likely to be more aggressive in both performance and styling and yes, expect a premium price.
My Take
From my 10 years of experience, Skoda’s pricing move seems quite calculated. By keeping the base variant unchanged, they secure entry-level buyers, while adjusting margins on mid and top trims. If long-term value and service support remain strong, customer loyalty will hold. But to be frank, with the price hike, expectations are definitely higher now.
