MG Cyberster Launched in India – Price, Features, Range and Specifications

Finally, MG Motor India has launched its flagship electric roadster MG Cyberster in India. Its ex-showroom price has been kept at ₹74.99 lakh. However, for those who booked before the launch, the price is ₹72.49 lakh.
This model was the center of discussion at Auto Expo 2025 and now it is the only all-electric roadster sold in India.

MG Cyberster – Design and Dimensions

The design of the MG Cyberster is in low-slung roadster style, with a long bonnet, short rear overhang and a slippery drag coefficient of 0.269Cd.

The front gets a smile-shaped grille, petal-shaped LED projector headlights, LED DRLs and a chrome MG logo.

The bumper gets blacked-out air intakes, honeycomb pattern and functional air vents for battery cooling.

The side profile gets 20-inch alloy wheels, folding soft-top and attractive scissor doors – a first in India at this price point.

The rear gets arrow-shaped LED taillights and a full-through LED strip.

MG Cyberster – Interior and Features

The interior design is inspired by fighter jet cockpits, with two sports seats and a total of four displays.

The 10.25-inch digital driver display on the dashboard is flanked by two 7-inch screens on either side – one for infotainment and the other for system settings, energy center, and weather updates.

A separate screen is provided for AC controls on the central console.

The steering wheel is in a flat-bottom design, with audio and display control buttons on it. Also, there is a launch control dial and paddle shifters for regenerative braking.

MG Cyberster – Price and Competition

 

  • Pre-launch bookings: ₹72.49 lakh (ex-showroom)

  • Bookings after launch: ₹74.99 lakh (ex-showroom)

 

It has no direct electric rivals in India, but it can be considered as an EV alternative to premium convertibles like the BMW Z4 (₹92.90 lakh) and Mercedes-Benz CLE Cabriolet (₹1.15 crore).
