You know, straight up, this SUV will only be available via Nexa. Two battery options 49kWh and 61kWh. Company claims 543 km on the bigger pack. Realistically though? I remember Swift EV prototype claiming the same, but on city roads it barely touched 320. The smaller battery is Delta-only. Zeta and Alpha get the big one. Simple. But, eh, also a bit tricky for buyers who are comparing specs online.
Safety and ADAS Tech
Safety is another story. Bharat NCAP crash test five stars. Not bad. Maruti even gave it ADAS. That makes it the second Maruti to feature this tech. Nice move. But lemme tell you something I’ve seen Maruti’s earlier ADAS cars glitch out on highway drives. You know, sensors acting weird, alerts popping randomly. I remember this one test drive back in 2022. EV prototype died midway on a small incline. Dealer just shrugged Sir, learning curve. I laughed but inside I was thinking, yikes. EV buyers won’t be that forgiving now. e Vitara has to nail software, battery management, and the actual driving feel. Else, those Nexa sales counters will feel very quiet very fast.
