You will also see that some variants have the same name but with an 'E' suffix, such as MX and MX (E), AX3 and AX3 (E), etc. This means that both variants are similar, but the variants with the 'E' suffix include Electronic Stability Control, while in the higher-end variants, it comes as standard.

The Mahindra XUV700 engine options also include a 2.12-liter petrol engine that delivers 200 PS of power and 380 Nm of torque. If you choose the 2.12-liter diesel engine, the base MX variant gets 155 PS of power and 369 Nm of torque, which is slightly less. However, the diesel engine in variants above the MX delivers 185 PS of power and 420 Nm of torque with a manual gearbox, and 450 Nm of torque with an automatic gearbox. Both engine options can be paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
