Mahindra is working on electric vehicles, which are slated for launch in December 2024. The brand is preparing to bring such electronic vehicles to Indian roads, including the Mahindra BE.05 electric SUV. Mahindra is launching this model as the Sport Electronic Wheel SEV, and we will see this car in October 2025. This electric SUV was recently spotted testing on Indian roads.
It appears that Mahindra has a well-defined design and language for its electric SUV, as the similarities were clearly visible in previous test runs. The design of this electric SUV, first seen a few years ago, appears to be very similar to the production version of the concept. Notably, the production model features smaller wheels and thicker sidewall tires, designed for Indian road conditions. It also includes external review mirrors and wipers, which were not seen in the original concept.

Mahindra's BE.05 will be based on the INGLO platform. Now we'll discuss This electric SUV measures 4370mm in length, 1900mm in width, and 1635mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2775mm.
The Inglo platform is designed to be versatile and suitable for vehicles ranging from 4.3m to 5m in length. Mahindra has strategically placed the wheel arches, giving it a striking appearance, and has integrated the battery pack into a flat floor enclosure. This design provides ample cabin space, setting it apart from other similar vehicles.

The platform is capable of supporting battery packs with a range of 60km to 80km, making its battery quite efficient, offering charging speeds of up to 17kW, allowing for a 0-80% charge in less than 30 minutes, which is quite impressive.
