Driving Experience
Driving the BE 6, the throttle response is normally smooth, even though highway acceleration is predictable. One small incident involves mind: on a weekend drive, I driven the automobile, and the software glitched with the infotainment freezing. At first, I panicked, but then realized it was a small issue and got constant through an over-the-air replace. This showed me that EV software program nevertheless isn’t best.
Interior Features and Tech
The cabin feels premium, though some plastic parts feel cheap. The touchscreen interface is intuitive, but sometimes lags once after a navigation update, the screen asked for a restart. Seat comfort and the AC system are reliable, but on long drives, if you keep the AC on high, range can slightly drop. I realized this on a 250 km test drive when I ran the AC max, and the range showed slightly less.

To be clear, M&M’s brand in the EV segment is strong, but with every new model comes some risk. Software bugs, range claims, and charging infrastructure are critical. If you’re a daily commuter in an area with limited charging points, planning is important. Personal tip: discuss details with the dealer; sometimes their real-world experience is very useful.

From my perspective, the Mahindra & Mahindra BE 6 is a solid step in the EV segment, but perfection is still a bit away. If you are brand-loyal and can tolerate minor glitches and updates patiently, this car is quite reliable and practical. However, if you want a completely worry-free EV with no small issues, a test drive and checking user feedback is necessary. And yes, always view real-world range and software performance with a cautious eye that’s my tip.
