Citroen Just Shocked India Basalt, Aircross & C3 Prices Jump Up to Rs 45,000!

So, Citroen has over again tweaked costs. Basalt, Aircross, C3 all three were given a bump. Basalt went up by using Rs 20,000, Aircross top-spec Max 7-seater Turbo AT by Rs 45,000, and C3 Shine and Turbo editions by way of Rs 40,000. Lower-spec trims? Only Rs 15,000. And that’s it. Nothing else modified. Yep, just the rate. Makes you think, right?

Trims and Engine Options

Basalt and Aircross are available in You Plus,Max trims. C3 has Live, Live (O), Feel, Feel (O), and Shine trims. Engines? Same tale 1.2-litre NA petrol and 1.2-litre rapid petrol. Manual gearbox on both. Turbo unit also can have a 6-speed automobile. I recollect the primary time I drove the Aircross faster small glitch in infotainment. Dealer shrugged. I laughed it off, but nevertheless small doubts lingered.

Citroen Basalt Old vs New Prices

Basalt now costs Rs 8.15 lakh to Rs 13.35 lakh. Every variant up by Rs 20,000. Max trim with dual-tone? Extra Rs 21,000. Coupe-SUV vibe is strong. 82hp NA or 110hp turbo engine your choice. Manual works with both, turbo gets auto too. Quick tip from me: test drive, feel the torque. Turbo is fun. Seriously.

I remember reviewing the C3 Feel variant, thought it was cute, small, peppy. But the turbo Shine? Now with price hike, buyers will pause. Makes sense.

Honestly, this price hike? Might make people look around. And I don’t blame them. Market is tight.
