Kia India has prepared a new generation Seltos for the Indian market, the price of which will be announced on the 2nd, but the brand has already shared all the details of the vehicle, bookings for which will be available from December 11 for ₹25,000. Introduced with several changes, this SUV represents the brand in a very competitive segment against the Tata Sierra, Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Victoris, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyder, Honda Elevate and other vehicles, which will help the vehicle maintain its place in the competition.

2026 Kia Seltos Design
This latest version of the Kia Seltos has arrived with a fresh face. Adopting the design style of the brand's global models, the SUV features a Tiger Nose grille that has been enhanced with vertical styling elements and a more upright stance. We also get to see an updated tailgate design along with 18-inch alloy wheels. As a change, we also get new bumpers at both the front and rear, which also include gunmetal finish skid plates.
However, the manufacturer is also including smoother body panels and door handles that are fixed to the body. Apart from this, the SUV has a filter roofline, a panoramic sunroof, an integrated rear spoiler and a shark fin antenna. The solar line of the car is also slightly different, which gives it a different look along with the updated window lines. All this will be provided with 10 body paint options along with two new colours named Morning Haze and Magma Red.
2026 Kia Seltos Dimensions
Based on the brand's K3 platform, the new-gen Selto has received significant changes in its dimensions, making it significantly longer. It is claimed to be the longest car in the segment, measuring approximately 4460mm in length, 1830mm in width and 1635mm in height. Meanwhile, the wheelbase has also been increased by approximately 80mm, making it 2690mm, giving it a truly impressive look.
Interior
Talking about the updated cabin design of this second-generation Kia Seltos, we will also see a new dashboard layout with new dual-tone elements and leatherette upholstery, which gives it a new and stunning look. Along with this, we have also got a flat bottom steering wheel in this SUV with an offset brand logo. Apart from this, a new 30-inch integrated dual screen setup with a single curved display is also available. The manufacturer is also offering a set of physical controls for different functions along with rotary controls for special features, which makes its cabin look quite impressive.

This second-generation Seltos will be packed with features like dual-zone climate control, ventilated seats, a wireless charger, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a heads-up display (HUD), powered driver seats, memory function ORVMs, an eight-speaker Bose sound system, ambient lighting, rear reclining seats, smart proximity key unlock, which will unlock a host of cool features, and much more.
In terms of safety, we get a host of good features like six airbags, ESP, hill-start assist, disc brakes for all wheels, a 360-degree camera, an electronic parking brake, remote control with OTA updates, Level 2 ADAS features like lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, navigation-based smart cruise control, and more. It also has different traction control modes for snow, mud, and sand.
2026 Kia Seltos Powertrain
The new Kia Seltos will be offered with two petrol engines and one diesel engine: a 1.5-liter NA petrol engine that produces 115 hp and 144 Nm, a 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine that produces 160 hp and 253 Nm, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine that produces 116 hp and 250 Nm. Transmission options include MT, iVT, DCT, and AT.
