e-Vitara is not only the mark of a new technology, but it is also a strong start to Maruti's EV journey in the Indian market. 

Design – Identity is the same, but the approach is new

The look of e-Vitara attracts at first glance. Its design is similar to the traditional Vitara but a futuristic touch has also been added to it. The closed grille at the front, LED headlights, sharp body lines and air-dynamic alloy wheels give it a modern and clean look. Slim taillights and EV badging at the rear give it a distinct identity. Overall, the exterior will appeal to those who want both style and simplicity.

Interior – A blend of technology and comfort

As soon as you sit inside the e-Vitara, you get a premium feel. It has features like a dual-tone dashboard, a large touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster and wireless charging

Maruti has added a new software interface that supports smartphone connectivity, voice commands and OTA updates. The seats are also comfortable and spacious, making this car perfect for family use.

Battery and range – Travel with confidence

The Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara has a 50 kWh lithium-ion battery, which claims to give a range of about 500 km on a single full charge (ARAI certified). This range is very balanced for an average Indian user – daily up-downs in the city will not require charging for a week.

It also has fast charging support, which charges the battery from 0 to 80% in just 45 minutes. Also, it can be fully charged in 7-8 hours with a regular home charger.

Performance – EV is also powerful

The e-Vitara is powered by an electric motor that generates about 150 bhp of power and 240 Nm of torque. These figures enable it to deliver tremendous performance both in the city and on the highway.

This SUV catches the speed of 0 to 100 km/h in about 9 seconds, which is quite impressive among the EVs of this segment. Due to silent driving and instant torque, this car is very fun to drive.

Safety and Features – Technology with trust

Maruti has left no stone unturned in safety. e-Vitara gets:

• 6 airbags,ABS with EBD,Electronic Stability Control (ESC),Hill Hold and Hill Descent

• 360 degree camera,ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) – such as lane departure warning, front collision alert and automatic emergency braking

All these features not only make it a safe SUV, but also prove it to be the car of the future for Indian customers.

Price and availability – pocket friendly EV

Maruti has always been known for its prices and the same is seen in the e-Vitara. The starting ex-showroom price of this electric SUV has been kept between ₹ 21–₹ 24 lakh, which brings it in a strong competition with cars like Hyundai Kona EV, Tata Nexon EV and MG ZS EV Its sales have started at Nexa dealerships across the country from March 2025 and deliveries are also being done fast.
